The Land of 1,001 Lakes
So named because of the large number of lakes in this region,
the Land of 1,001 Lakes features the greatest concentration
of freshwater lakes anywhere in the world. Several bodies
of water reside in this forested area, including Arthur Lake,
Veronica Lake, and Moose Lake.
Of the many lakes, Veronica Lake is known far and wide as
the best place for fly-fishing in Cape Suzette. Equally famous
is Moose Lake, the spot where the rare Idol of Kafusalum was
found during a huge treasure hunt sponsered by the Sultan
of Kafusalum.
