The Heralda Riviera

The "place of timeless sand," the Heralda Riviera is a deserted atoll located out in the middle of the ocean, relatively far away from most shipping lanes. The reason why the island remains deserted is that quicksand covers almost two-thirds of the beach. Naturally, this makes landing and exploration extremely dangerous and accounts for the Heralda Riviera's complete lack of inhabitants.
