Cape Suzette Air Contest Field

On the other side of the hills past the Cape Suzette suburbs, balloon pilots and recreational aviators take to the air for fun, using valleys and dales as landing fields. These pursuits attracted sport organizers also, who found the terrain in back of Cape Suzette a lovely setting for air shows and flying contests. The spot designated as Cape Suzette's air contest field lies dormant most of the time, coming to life with the arrival of an event such as the Cape Suzette Championship Flyoffs, which determines the city's annual Pilot of the Year.
